Sunday Services

Sunday Services at Ascension.  Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the movement of the Holy Spirit, our worship honors timeless traditions while staying engaged with today’s world.   Our services are reverent, yet relaxed and open to creativity.  Our style is neither especially “high” nor “low,” but a balanced, approachable Anglican expression.  Whether you join us in person or online, you’ll find a warm, inclusive community waiting for you.

  • When:     Sundays at 10 AM
  • Where:   Indoors with music, or live-streamed via Facebook.
  • Special  Services:  Join us on the first Sunday of every month for dedicated prayer and healing.

Children's Formation

Godly Play

Godly Play

For children ages 6–5th grade, we offer Godly Play, an innovative approach to Christian formation that brings Bible teachings to life. Through creative storytelling and interactive play, children are encouraged to explore their faith, ask big questions, and experience the wonder of the Gospel in a fun, engaging environment.

Godly Play starts at 9am and ends at 9:45am each Sunday.

Nursey

Godly Play

All children are welcome in our worship services and it’s wonderful to hear their small voices during the services. However, we realize that parents of very small children may prefer to utilize our nursery for child care during the services. Our nursery is designed for newborns through age five.  We ask that parents provide diapers and wipes for their child. Additionally, if a snack is sent with the child we ask that it be peanut and tree nut free due to allergy issues.

Pray-Ground

Pray-Ground

Located within the sanctuary, the "Pray-Ground" is a dedicated, welcoming space designed specifically for younger members of the congregation. It allows children to remain in the church service alongside their parents while providing them with a comfortable area to engage in quiet, age-appropriate activities.

This inclusive setup ensures that families can worship together, fostering a sense of belonging for children within the main service environment.
